Shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, Columbia police and fire department personnel responded to the area of Route 158 between Todd Center Drive and Centerville Road after a tractor working in the field knocked down a Charter Spectrum cable line across the roadway.

No injuries were reported in the incident, but customers of that cable company are expected to be without service until about 8 p.m.
