The first of two road closures as part of the Valmeyer Road reconstruction project off Route 3 in Columbia begins Monday, May 8. The City of Columbia said that while all area businesses will remain open during construction, there will be some traffic delays traveling around the construction. The businesses can be accessed via Columbia Centre Drive or Veterans Parkway, the city said.
