Konnor Stephens | Athlete of the Week

The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School freshman wrestler Konnor Stephens. Competing in the 106-pound division, Stephens won first place at the IHSA Class 2A Centralia Regional on Saturday to qualify for sectional competition. He became the sixth regional wrestling champion for WHS in the past 10 years. His record is 19-8 this season for the Bulldogs.
