The Valmeyer Community Chorus presents a “Sounds of the Season” holiday concert at 4 p.m. this Sunday, Dec. 11, at St. John United Church of Christ, 201 S. Meyer Avenue in Valmeyer.

The chorus will sing a variety of holiday pieces and various soloists will perform. The concert will also feature the Valmeyer High School Choir and both choirs will combine for songs at the end of the concert.

The VCC will also be sponsoring donations for Monroe County House of Neighborly Service at the concert. Attendees may bring donations if they wish that would include socks, underwear, educational toys and games, and science kits to be given to area families in need of a helping hand.

Donations will be collected at the concert. There is no admission charge for the concert but free-will donations will be accepted to help defray music expenses.
