Columbia Police
Feb. 21
Thomas R. Norman, 41, of Dupo, was arrested on an in-state warrant for battery at the police station.
Officers assisted Columbia Fire Department personnel with a report of smoke in a residence at 217 E. Washington Street behind Immaculate Conception School shortly after 2 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Feb. 25
Cody Scott Jefferis, 20, of Belleville, was arrested for possession of cannabis at 610 S. Main Street.
Monroe County Sheriff
Feb. 18
A report of parts stolen from a burned John Deere combine in a field off B Road is under investigation. The parts, valued at around $300, were believed taken within a few days before the incident was reported.
Feb. 24
Michael D. Davis, 36, of Waterloo, was arrested for felony DUI, driving while suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to yield and improper lane usage on Route 158 near Route 3.
Linda Beeson of Waterloo was arrested on a Monroe County failure to appear warrant.
Toni Fenoglio of Wood River was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on Route 3 at Hanover Road.
Feb. 26
Deputies responded to a vehicle crashing into a pole near VV Road and G Road in Renault around 1:50 p.m. No details were available at press time.
Valmeyer Police
Feb. 19
Emergency responders handled a three-vehicle crash at Route 156 and South Meyer Avenue around 5:20 p.m. EMS personnel checked on all persons involved in the crash, but no medical transport was required. The vehicles involved were a Chevy Impala driven by Luke Franke of Maeystown, a Chevy Impala driven by Jill Eggemeyer of Waterloo, and a Chevy Uplander driven by Roy Brammeier of Nashville.

Feb. 6
Carolyn McDonald, 44, of Waterloo, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart. She is alleged to have taken a rug from the store.
Feb. 21
The report of an aluminum boat stolen from 412 Monroe Street is under investigation.
Feb. 22
Riley Minnaert, 18, and Bradford Nieman, 18, both of Waterloo, were cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol at Waterloo High School, 505 Bulldog Boulevard.
