The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Monroe County EMS and Waterloo Fire Department responded shortly before 2:50 p.m. Wednesday to a two-vehicle rollover crash on MM Road near Reed Road in rural Monroe County.

At least one person was treated at the scene by EMS personnel for what appeared to be minor injuries.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department said a 2007 Nissan Altima driven by 41-year-old Bridgett N. Humes lost control and crashed into the passenger side of a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Codie L. Hartmann, causing the Suburban to roll over onto its roof. Passengers in the Suburban were two young males, ages 11 and 1, and an 11-year-old female.

All occupants signed refusals for medical transport.

Humes was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and for operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended for non-insurance.
