There are only two more weeks of fish fry season left. Below are a few options to satisfy your lent appetite.

The Valmeyer Knights of Columbus will continue fish fries this Friday, April 8, at the St. Mary Church Hall, 116 W. Woodland Ridge. Fish will be served from 4-7:30 p.m. with dine-in or carry out available for cod or shrimp plates and homemade sides.

The Waterloo VFW Metzger-Crook Post 6504 and Auxiliary, 406 Veterans Drive, has a Friday Lenten menu featuring fish plates, sandwiches or bulk orders and sides this Friday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The post will have an all-you-can-eat buffet on Good Friday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $17 for adults and $8 for children ages 4-12. Kids age 3 and under eat free. The buffet features cod, walleye, locally grown catfish, shrimp, chicken strips, meatless spaghetti, deviled eggs, french fries, onion rings, hush puppies, salad and fruit cocktail.
