Brush fire near Waterloo

The Waterloo Fire Department responded about 2:45 p.m. Monday to a brush fire in the area of 5867 Old Baum Church Road. An arriving police officer said the woods were on fire.
The fire was not near any structures, according to initial reports.
The WFD returned to that location at about 5:30 p.m. for the report of a tree that had reignited.
