Fish fry season is in full swing around the county. Below are a few options to satisfy your lent appetite.

The Valmeyer Knights of Columbus will hold fish fries beginning this Friday, March 18, at the St. Mary Church Hall, 116 W. Woodland Ridge, Valmeyer. Fish will be served from 4-7:30 p.m., with dine-in or carry out available for cod or shrimp plates and homemade sides.  They will also have fish  fries March 24, April 1 and April 8.

Friday fish fries at the Waterloo Sportsman’s Club, 4903 Sportsman Road, continue through April 15. The club offers dine-in and carry-out service from 4-8 p.m. Visit waterloosportsmansclub.org for a full menu or call 618-458-9927 to order or for more information.
