Columbia Police

Feb. 4
Jessy D. Ledbetter, 28, of Columbia, has been charged with a violation of probation following an arrest for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia on Admiral Parkway northbound at Eagle Drive. He was already on probation for a 2011 controlled substances possession conviction.

Feb. 7
Eric A. Johnson, 47, of Millstadt, was arrested on two in-state warrants on Route 3 north of Route 158. Also arrested was Erinn R. Walton, 33, of Hillsboro, for possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 9
Candace M. Zimmer, 25, of Columbia, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant and for improper driving on the shoulder and expired registration sticker on Palmer Road at Southport Drive.
James R. Carver, 53, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, driving on the shoulder and improper lane usage on N. Main Street.

Monroe County Sheriff

Feb. 6
Julie Pusa-Fessel, 38, of Belleville, faces a warrant arrest for failure to appear in court on a 2012 felony forgery charge in Monroe County. She was charged last week in St. Clair County  with four counts of unlawful possession of fraudulent driver’s licenses.

Feb. 9
Peter J. Nord of Waterloo was transported to Red Bud Regional Hospital after his 2002 Ford Taurus left the roadway to the right and went into a ditch, striking an embankment and culvert in the area of 6287 Maeystown Road during the early morning hours.

Aaron Brigance of Valmeyer was arrested on a Monroe County warrant at the county jail.

Feb. 10
A fight believed to have occurred in the county involving teens is under investigation.

Waterloo Police

Feb. 6
James Kelley, 30, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Route 3 at South Market.

Feb. 8
Two juveniles were arrested for possession of alcohol and unlawful consumption of alcohol on Route 3 at South Market.

Four juveniles were arrested for possession of cannabis on Main Street at Hoener Avenue.

Feb. 9
Jamie Douthit, 33, of Waterloo, was issued a city ordinance violation for public fighting at Fourth Street Bar, 301 S. Moore Street.
