Brush fire near Maeystown

Republic-Times- January 31, 2022

The Maeystown Fire Department responded about 10:20 a.m. Monday to a brush fire in the area of Kaskaskia Road just south of St. Joe.

Firefighters had the fire mostly extinguished by about 10:50 a.m.

The fire department was paged out again for a rekindling of the fire shortly before 5 p.m.
