Mason Swope | Athlete of the Week

The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School freshman Mason Swope. He won a silver medal in his division of the Special Olympics State Bowling Tournament in Peoria on Saturday. Swope, 15, is a member of the Monroe County Patriots. He traveled with his parents, siblings and grandparents to the state event, receiving a proper state send-off at WHS on Friday.
