The hill prairies of Illinois are shrinking and at risk of being lost from the Illinois landscape forever. Hill prairies are home to rare and endangered plants and animals that face threats like brush and weedy invasive plants.

Join the Friends of Illinois Nature Preserves and Illinois Department of Natural Resources for a work day at Fults Hill Prairie Nature Preserve this Saturday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Join the discussion about protecting the future of this unique ecosystem. Attendees will walk and learn and then get to work.
