The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia Middle School baseball player Brody Landgraf. The eighth grader recently broke a school record for the highest batting average in a single season. His batting average during the fall season was .773. The previous record holder was Joel Greatting in 2004, who had a .659 batting average.
