The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is baseball player Trevor Davis of the Valmeyer Lakers in the Mon-Clair League. Davis, a Gibault graduate, was a dual threat this summer, finishing fifth in the Mon-Clair League in hitting at .436 (24-for-55) with 12 RBIs and seventh in the league in pitching at 4-0 with a 2.43 ERA in 26 and two-thirds innings.
