WJHS Cheerleaders | Team of the Week

The Waterloo Junior High School cheerleading squad is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the week.

The WJHS cheerleaders became the first team to win a state title in Waterloo cheerleading history Sunday.

The Bulldogs took first place at the ICCA Championships in Springfield in the junior high small division. Last year WJHS took fifth place at the competition.

The junior high squad consists of: Morgan Anderson, Hanna Meadors, Sam Hutchinson, Alayna Miller, Kailee Ronat, Olivia Thaggard, Mariah LaFore, Kaela Osterhage, Anna Hergenroeder, Alison Yearian, Taylor Nelson, Emma Geringer, Emma Snodgrass and Erica Schaab. The squad is coached by Brittany Huelsman.
