The Columbia Fire Department responded late Saturday night to the report of a van on fire next to a garage in the area of South Rapp Avenue and West Milton Street in Columbia.

A neighbor noticed the blaze and called 911, resulting in a quick response from firefighters. The van appeared to be a total loss, but the nearby garage was mostly spared with some fire damage near the roof.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
