Wednesday car fire on North Market Street

The Waterloo Fire Department responded about 3 p.m. Wednesday to a car on fire at 324 North Market Street in Waterloo.

The car was parked under a carport, which was attached to a house.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it spread. The house did not suffer significant damage.
