Columbia police and ambulance personnel responded about 10:45 p.m. Friday for the report of a female pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the area of Admiral Parkway (Route 3) and Wedgewood Drive near Midwest Petroleum. The woman was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The woman told police she was standing in the median at that location when she was “blindsided” by a white truck or SUV. Police are still looking for the suspect vehicle.
