A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 28, at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Msgr. Daniel Jurek and Msgr. Dennis Schaefer officiating.
Interment followed at St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery, Modoc.

Clarence J. Schaefer, 83, of Ruma, died Jan. 23, 2013.
Visitation was Jan. 25-26, at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 26, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ruma, Father Clyde Grogan officiating.
Interment followed at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Ruma.

Gene O’Farrell, 91, of Columbia, died Jan. 27, 2013, at Columbia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Columbia.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 411 Palmer Road, Columbia.
A Funeral Mass will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, at the church, Fr. Carl Scherrer officiating.
Private interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
